Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information banksac.com collects, why, and what choices you have about it.

1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly — such as your name, email, and phone number when you use our comparison tools, contact us, or click through to a bank's application page. We also collect usage data automatically, including pages visited, filters applied, and general device/browser information, to understand how the site is used.

2. How we use your information

  • To operate and improve the comparison and search features on the site
  • To respond to support requests and partnership inquiries
  • To pass your details to a bank only when you actively click "Apply" and choose to proceed to their application
  • To send service-related communication, such as confirming a message you sent us

We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not share your details with a bank unless you take an action that clearly initiates that handoff.

3. Cookies & tracking

We use essential cookies to keep the site functional (such as remembering your comparison selections) and analytics cookies to understand aggregate usage patterns. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some comparison features may not work correctly without them.

4. Data sharing with banks

When you click through to apply for an account, you leave banksac.com and interact directly with the bank's own website or application flow. Any information you submit there is governed by that bank's own privacy policy, not ours. We are not responsible for how a partner bank subsequently handles your data.

5. Data security

We use industry-standard measures to protect information stored on our systems, including encrypted connections and restricted internal access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your rights

You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccurate data, or request deletion of your data, subject to any legal retention requirements. Contact support for any of these requests.

7. Children's privacy

banksac.com is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. Student account listings on the site are informational only and any account opening for a minor is handled directly by the bank with a parent or guardian.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

Terms of Use

By accessing or using banksac.com, you agree to the terms below. Please read them before using the site.

1. What banksac.com is

banksac.com is an independent comparison platform for bank account products. We are not a bank, not a non-banking financial company, and not affiliated with the Reserve Bank of India or any other regulator. We do not open accounts, hold deposits, or provide financial services ourselves — we display information sourced from partner banks to help you compare options.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or accessing the site under the supervision of a parent or guardian, to use banksac.com. Account opening itself is subject to each bank's own eligibility and KYC requirements, which we do not control.

3. Accuracy of information

We make reasonable efforts to keep listed rates, fees, and features current and to verify submissions from partner banks. However, banking terms change frequently, and we cannot guarantee that every listing reflects the exact current terms at the moment you view it. Always confirm details directly with the bank before making a decision or submitting an application.

4. Prohibited conduct

  • Scraping, copying, or republishing our comparison data at scale without permission
  • Attempting to interfere with or disrupt the site's normal operation
  • Submitting false information through our contact or partner forms
  • Using the site for any unlawful purpose

5. Third-party links

Clicking "Apply" or similar links takes you to a bank's own website, which we do not control and are not responsible for. Your interaction with any third-party site is governed by that site's own terms and policies.

6. Limitation of liability

banksac.com is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any decision made based on information found on this site, including account-opening decisions, or for any loss arising from a discrepancy between a listing and a bank's actual current terms.

7. Changes to these terms

We may revise these Terms of Use periodically. Continued use of the site after a revision takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

Grievance Redressal

If you have a complaint about content on banksac.com, a listing, or your experience using the site, here's how to reach us and what to expect.

Important: If your complaint is about an account you already opened with a bank — a servicing issue, a transaction dispute, or a complaint about the bank itself — that must go to the bank's own grievance officer, and from there to the RBI Integrated Ombudsman Scheme if unresolved. We cannot access or intervene in your account with a bank.

Disclaimer

The essentials, stated plainly.

Not a bank, not a regulator

banksac.com is an independent, privately operated comparison website. We are not a bank, not a non-banking financial company (NBFC), and not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the Reserve Bank of India or any other financial regulator.

No financial advice

Nothing on this site constitutes financial, legal, or tax advice. Comparison tables, "top pick" badges, and editorial content reflect our own methodology and are for informational purposes only. You should evaluate your own financial situation, or consult a qualified advisor, before opening any account.

Accuracy of listed information

Interest rates, fees, minimum balance requirements, and features shown on banksac.com are sourced from partner banks and refreshed periodically, but may not reflect a bank's most current terms at all times. Rates and terms are subject to change by the bank at any time without notice to us. Errors and omissions excepted (E&OE).

No guarantee of account approval

Listing an account on banksac.com does not guarantee that your application will be approved. Account opening is entirely at the discretion of the bank, subject to their own eligibility criteria, KYC checks, and internal policies.

Deposit insurance

Deposits with RBI-licensed banks are covered by DICGC insurance up to the limit prescribed by the RBI, subject to conditions. This coverage is provided by DICGC directly and is not something banksac.com administers or guarantees.

Third-party content and links

Links to partner bank websites are provided for convenience. We do not control, and are not responsible for, the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party site linked from banksac.com.
